He holds a degree in Philosophy and has training in Pastoral Counseling from the Center for Family Ministries, Loyola School of Theology, Ateneo de Manila University. He furthered his studies with a course in Applied Jungian Psychology and Archetypal Studies at the CJCC. His exploration of Jungian psychology informs his work as a visual artist and technical support provider for the CJCC, where he also serves as Treasurer.
is a master storyteller across multiple mediums. For over 30 years, she captivated audiences with "Maala-ala Mo Kaya" (MMK), the Philippines' longest-running drama anthology. Her influence extends to film, where she spent 40 years creating and producing for companies like Star Cinema (which she helped establish), BanCom Audiovision, and Experimental Cinema of the Philippines. A celebrated actress, she won Best Actress at the 1978 Asian Film Festival for her role in "Itim." Beyond her artistic achievements, Charo served as President of ABS-CBN, leading the network to unprecedented success. She is a former Board Member of CJCC.
A writer and publisher with a unique background in advertising and engaged humanities. She is the founder of Certeza and Sons Publishing and the author of several deep memoirs. She holds an M.A. in Engaged Humanities from Pacifica Graduate Institute and has completed courses in Applied Jungian Psychology and Archetypal Studies at the CJCC. She is currently enrolled in a Ph.D. program in Cosmic Anthropology at the Asian Social Institute and was a former Board Member of the CJCC.
A licensed psychologist with a deep appreciation for Philippine culture and history. She brings this passion to her work as a psychotherapist in private practice at PsychConsult. Her academic background includes a Ph.D. in Philippine Studies from the University of the Philippines, Diliman, where she focused on understanding the rich narratives, spirituality, and traditions of Indigenous Peoples. Sandra is also a former member of the CJCC.
A social development practitioner with three decades of experience in the NGO and corporate sectors. He has dedicated his career to social development and environmental protection, with a particular focus on the Sierra Madre mountain range. A former VP for Community Partnerships at Smart Communications, he is currently furthering his expertise through Yale University's Program for Tropical Forest Restoration, Conservation, and Sustainable Use.
Ruth Gerochi's core competencies are in the areas of strategic leadership, complex change management and organization development and has brought her expertise in the arenas of public health, education, environment protection and development, local governance and multi-sector collaboration.
She served as team leader and senior organization development adviser for national and international programs of governments, donor agencies, international development organizations and for-profit corporations. She has a PhD degree in Social and Organizational Psychology. She is currently a core faculty member of the Ateneo de Manila University School of Government. She is currently a member of CJCC.
The founder and owner of Real Toy Kitchen Foods, where she crafts artisanal and gourmet food products. Her background spans corporate communications (with a focus on marketing and crisis communication) and corporate social responsibility for both public and multinational organizations in the Philippines and the United States. A former Board Member of the CJCC, Johanna also completed their course on Applied Jungian Psychology and Archetypal Studies.

With over 25 years of experience in Organizational Development (OD), she consults and guides individuals, teams, and organizations through change journeys globally. Dr. Lagrosa has been a faculty member at the Asian Institute of Management and the Ateneo de Manila University Department of Psychology. She holds a Ph.D. in Social Psychology from Ateneo de Manila University and is a former Board Member of CJCC.
Dr. Anna Marie Garcia- Lantano completed residency training in Psychiatry at Makati Medical Center and fellowship in Consultation- Liaison Psychiatry at the University of the Philippines- Philippine General Hospital. She also took further training in Interpersonal Psychotherapy and Mindfulness-Based Therapies in UK, USA and Canada. She is an accredited provider of interpersonal psychotherapy and mindfulness- based interventions. She is a practicing psychiatrist at Makati Medical Center. Jungian psychology has bern her companion in her life journey. She is a graduate of the first Kayamanan course. She is currently a member of CJCC.
Anna hails from Taguig. She loves to travel, eat and cook, specially local and heirloom dishes.
For over 30 years, Dr. Raj has been an Associate Professor of Philosophy at De La Salle University, where he developed the popular course "Philosophy of the Unconscious." This course uniquely blends philosophical perspectives with the psychological theories of Freud and Jung. Dr. Raj holds a Ph.D. in Philosophy from De La Salle University and is currently pursuing an MA in Clinical Psychology at the same institution. A passionate flamenco guitarist, he leads his own band and accompanies leading flamenco dancers in the country. In the 1990s, he was a member of the founding Friends of Jung Society.
Narzalina “ Narz” Lim served as president and chairperson of the Iloilo Economic Development Foundation, Inc. ( ILED) from 2010 to 2019 when rapid developments in Iloilo were taking place – developments which led to Iloilo becoming an economic and investment hub and a liveable city in Western Visayas. ILED, the brainchild of Mayor Jerry Treñas during his first term as Mayor, was organized as a public-private partnership meant to harness the talents and resources of Ilonggos to help spur developments in both the city and province.
Ms. Lim was the Editorial and Production Director of the book, “Iloilo City Rises” which tells the story of Iloilo’s dramatic transformation into a thriving metropolis.
She served as Secretary of Tourism under President Corazon C. Aquino and Fidel V. Ramos.
A seasoned educator with 25 years of experience, Bernie has significantly impacted the Philippine education sector. She served as President of Holy Angel University for 11 years, spearheading its transformation for the new millennium. Currently, she is the President of the Private Education Retirement Annuity Association (PERAA) and an Education Consultant to a major conglomerate. Bernie's leadership extends to CJCC, where she is Chairperson and co-founder. She holds an MA in Social Psychology from Ateneo de Manila University and is a Depth Psychotherapist with an interest in Jungian psychology, having been a member of the original Friends of Jung Society in the 1990s.
Grace Nono is a music artist and ethnomusicologist, and cultural and environmental worker from the river valley of Agusan del Sur in Southern Philippines. She received a master's degree in Philippine Studies from the University of the Philippines, a second master's degree in Religion/Gender from Yale University, and a Ph.D. in Ethnomusicology from New York University. She was also awarded a post-doctoral position at Harvard Divinity School's Women’s Studies in Religion Program.
As a cultural worker, Grace founded the Tao Foundation for Culture and Arts, a three decade-old non-profit organization dedicated to cultural revitalization. The Tao Foundation currently runs or co-manages the government-funded Agusan del Sur-Schools of Living Traditions; the Himig, Tula, at Galaw ng Ninuno: Philippine Traditional Music, Poetry, and Movement Webinar Series; the Pamati Encounters participated in by various Philippine ritual specialists; and the Alima Eco, Agri, and Heritage Park development.
To date, Grace has won over 45 awards, including the SUDI National Music Award, The Outstanding Women in the Nation's Service or TOWNS award, the Ten Outstanding Young Men or TOYM award, the University of the Philippines Distinguished Alumni award, three national book awards, three album of the year awards, three best world music album awards, several Catholic Mass Media, Katha, Awit, National Press Club, and other awards for her musical, scholarly, and other cultural contributions.
Grace currently shuttles between Manila and Agusan del Sur where she lives with her daughter, dogs, cats, and co-sojourners.
Inspired by nature, Bernie is a Writer and Gardener who believes in the transformative power of stories. She is a Story Listener, Story-Teller, and Story-Collector, using her skills to provide biographical counseling. Her experience includes working with survivors of trauma, abuse, and disasters, as well as counseling young adults for an educational non-profit scholarship program. Bernie holds an MA in Counseling Psychology from Ateneo de Manila University. She is a member of CJCC, having completed their Deep Memoir Course. In the 1990s, she was a member of the original Friends of Jung Society.
Vince is a Professor of History and Southeast Asian Studies at the University of Washington in Seattle. His research and teaching have focused mostly on the comparative political and cultural history of the Philippines, the United States, and Southeast Asia.
He is the author most recently of The Sovereign Trickster: Death and Laughter in the Age of Duterte (2022).

Art is a Coach for corporate and private clients with issues ranging from results to mental health. He is also a shareholder and facilitator for Leadership and Management Training of MindYou Health Systems. He is passionate about mental health, with particular emphasis around addiction and compulsive behaviors. Grief counseling, family conflicts and emotional relational concerns as well are areas that he specializes in. He is a Certified Life Coach via I AM + Coaches Coach the Coach Program. He is currently taking up Compassionate Inquiry Professional Training. He is a loving husband and father to two amazing children. Art is the current Vice President of CJCC.
Rose is an Education Specialist at the Education Practice Team, Sector Group, Asian Development Bank. Before joining ADB, she worked at the Education Commission in Washington D.C., which was co-convened by the former Director-General of UNESCO and the UN Special Envoy for Global Education. She has worked on adaptive, personalized learning; digital learning/EdTech initiatives; and studying the interface between technology and human interaction, learning, and pedagogy. She served as the Co-Chair of Harvard Alumni for Education- San Francisco Bay Area chapter. She is currently a member of CJCC. She holds a Master's degree in International Education Policy from Harvard University.
Oliver is a passionate advocate for creativity, nurturing its expression in himself and others. He shares his expertise as a Depth Artist, Designer, and Interdisciplinary Artist through classes and workshops. His background includes over 25 years of experience in event styling, interior design, and crafts, as well as performing as a tenor in the acapella quartet Perfect Fourth. Oliver has undertaken coursework in Architecture at the University of the Philippines Diliman and Applied Jungian Psychology and Archetypal Studies at CJCC. He currently serves as President, Director of Workshops, and Resident Artist at CJCC.
Dr. Rene is a Consultant Psychiatrist at Makati Medical Center and in private practice, specializing in the psychopharmacologic and psychotherapeutic treatment of a wide range of psychiatric conditions. He is deeply engaged in Jungian psychology, offering lectures and workshops on mythology, fairy tales, and midlife issues. He has played a key role in CJCC's development as a co-founder and former President, contributing to their Faculty Development Program, Deep Memoir Course, and serving as the first Course Director for their Course on Applied Jungian Psychology and Archetypal Studies. Dr. Rene also conducts stress management workshops for corporations and has attended Jungian workshops with the Washington Society of Jungian Psychology.
With 30 years of experience as an OD consultant, Ina brings a wealth of knowledge to her work as an Executive/Action Learning/Jungian Coach. She co-founded InnerWorks Coaching PH and is currently President of the International Coaching Federation Philippines. Ina designs and facilitates leadership retreats that provide space for reflection, reassessment, and reconnection with purpose and values. Her experience also includes roles as a resource person at the Ateneo Center for Continuing Education and adjunct faculty at the Asian Institute of Management. A member of CJCC, she has completed their Course on Applied Jungian Psychology and Archetypal Studies.
Ruby is a Depth Communications Professional and Principal Consultant and Partner of RubyComm-K.Austria Ltd. Co., a public relations and management firm with 16 years of experience. She integrates her expertise in media, public relations, and organizational communications consulting with Jungian and Depth Psychology. Ruby is a faculty member for Strategic Communications in the Masters on Public Management and Development Program at the Development Academy of the Philippines. She holds a degree in Journalism from the University of the Philippines Diliman. She has pursued her interest in Jungian psychology through attending classes at the Ateneo de Manila University and with CJCC, including their Course on Applied Jungian Psychology and Archetypal Studies and Deep Memoir Course. Ruby is also a playwright, having written CJCC's musical offering, "Halo-Halo Tayo: the Delicious and Colorfully Complex Filipino Soul." She currently serves as Secretary and was a past President of CJCC.
Dr. Dido is a Certified Clinical and Assessment Psychologist with a private practice at Makati Medical Center. She specializes in adolescent psychology, psychological and neuropsychological assessment, psychotherapy, and stress management, including critical incident stress debriefing.
Dr. Dido also holds faculty positions at the Ateneo de Manila University Center for Family Ministries and the Asian Social Institute, and is a visiting Lecturer at the East Asian Pastoral Institute, Loyola School of Theology. She earned her PhD in Clinical Psychology from Ateneo de Manila University and pursued further training in Clinical and Hospital Psychology at St. John's Hospital in California, and Personality and Individuation at the Carl Jung Institute in Los Angeles. A Certified Jungian Coach, she was a member of the original Friends of Jung Society in the 1990s and a co-founder and former Chairperson of CJCC.
Eliza (e-lee-za) is a newly minted Jungian Psychoanalyst. She trained at the International School of Analytical Psychology (ISAP) Zurich - getting her diploma in December 2023, after 7 years of training.
As a child, Eliza played pretend with her siblings, using the imagination, and playing the part of Queen, princess, mother, child. Her father told stories of the world of spirits, the Tawong Ibid, a creature who is half man/half crocodile, or the kapre, and enkantos. Eliza's mother told the stories of Snow White, Little Red Riding Hood, The Wolf and the Seven Young Goats.
This world of spirits and fairies was a rich ground for her interest in Jungian Analytical Psychology.
The ISAP training gives importance to Fairytales, requiring an intense focus on interpretation. One of the final diploma exam is a 6 hour written fairytale interpretation.
Eliza comes from Bacolod. She has a private practice in Chicago, where she lives with her husband Greg. She has two grown sons and a daughter-in-law - all living in Chicago.

Rose also maintains a private practice as a Psychotherapist and Clinical Psychologist, working with individuals, couples, and families. Her five decades of experience as an OD Consultant encompass diverse clients, including large organizations, government agencies, and NGOs. She holds an MA in Social-Industrial Psychology and doctorate units in Clinical Psychology from Ateneo de Manila University. She has attended intensive summer programs at the Jung Institute in Kusnacht, Switzerland.
Dr. Hansen, a founding member of Pacifica Graduate Institute in Carpinteria, California, holds a Ph.D. in Psychology and is an ordained Unitarian Universalist minister. She is also a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and an Advisor to the Opus Archives and Research Center.
Dr. Hansen's work explores the intersection of psychology and spirituality, with particular interests in myth, women's spirituality, ritual, and dreamwork. She is the author of Mother Mysteries, a "tender and funny exploration of the sacred dimension of motherhood" (Jean Houston). Houston further praises Hansen's "brilliant, intuitive grasp of the essential myths of Mother/Goddess."
Dr. Stephen Aizenstat is the Chancellor and Founding President of Pacifica Graduate Institute. A licensed marriage and family therapist and credentialed public school teacher and counselor, he holds a PhD in Clinical Psychology and is a professor of depth psychology.
Dr. Aizenstat is an internationally recognized lecturer and consultant, working with organizations ranging from global corporations to the Earth Charter International Project through the United Nations. His book, Dream Tending (2009), explores the application of dreamwork to diverse areas, including health and healing, nightmares, relationships, the creative process, and the concept of a "World Dream." Dr. Aizenstat's innovative methodologies expand traditional dreamwork to encompass the idea of an animated world, where dream images are understood as embodied expressions originating from both the human psyche and the psyche of nature. His latest book, The Imagination Matrix, will anchor DIA’s forthcoming course.
Dr. Selig is a lifelong educator with 34 years of experience teaching literature, psychology, creativity studies, and the humanities. A longtime faculty member at Pacifica Graduate Institute, she founded both the Jungian and Archetypal Studies doctoral program and the Engaged Humanities and the Creative Life master's program.
Currently, she teaches courses on memoir writing, vocation, longing, and understanding spiritual journeys from an archetypal perspective. Her online course, "Following Your Wyrd," explores the development of individual gifts and uniqueness.
A prolific writer, Dr. Selig has authored numerous newspaper articles, book reviews, journal articles, and three screenplays. She has also written, edited, or contributed to 15 books, including Deep Creativity: Seven Ways to Spark Your Creative Spirit, winner of the gold medal in the Creativity and Innovation category at the 2019 Nautilus Book Awards. Dr. Selig has presented workshops on deep creativity and memoir writing for CJCC. In addition to her teaching and writing, she runs three publishing companies: Mandorla Books, Empress Publications, and Grace's Giant Print Books.
Dr. Slattery is a Distinguished Professor Emeritus in Mythological Studies at Pacifica Graduate Institute, where he helped shape the Mythological Studies program over two decades. A prolific author, poet, and artist, he has written, co-authored, edited, or co-edited 33 books, including seven volumes of poetry.
His recent works include The Way of Myth: Stories’ Subtle Wisdom and The Fictions in Our Convictions: Essays on the
Cultural Imagination (2023). He also co-authored the award-winning Deep Creativity: Seven Ways to Spark Your Creative Spirit with Jennifer Leigh Selig and Deborah Anne Quibell. He is perhaps best known for his book The Wounded Body: Remembering the Markings of Flesh, which was included in The Best Books for Academic Libraries in 2002.
Dr. Slattery has been teaching for 55 years, including 27 years in the Mythological Studies Program at Pacifica Graduate Institute, where he served as a Distinguished Professor since 2007. He continues to offer online courses to Jungian groups and others across the United States.
A dedicated artist, he has been taking painting classes for 12 years from a former student.
